Finding joy in what you do

What really makes us happy at work? It’s not always the technical achievements or the new qualifications. Often, it’s the people we work with, the support we feel, and the sense that what we do matters. Belonging to a positive team, building genuine connections, and having a role that aligns with our values can transform how we experience our careers.

In this issue, we explore how fulfilment and wellbeing go hand in hand with professional success. Our contributors share their experiences and advice on creating a happier, more sustainable working life, where satisfaction comes from both purpose and progress.

Inspired Vet, our free downloadable eBook, is packed with stories, insights, and inspiration to help veterinary professionals grow with confidence and find renewed enjoyment in their work, whether in practice or beyond.

Explore the experiences of veterinary professionals with diverse paths and perspectives:

Heather Davies BVetMed (Hons) CertAVP MRCVS, and James Price BVetMed are a husband-and-wife team whose careers span both clinical practice and veterinary technology. As well as celebrating individual journeys, Inspired Vet explores topics that help every veterinary professional find balance, motivation, and purpose in their work.
