From the moment it became first subdivision of the BVA 90 years ago, SPVS has been supporting British veterinary business. Through war, depression, revolution and evolution, SPVS has helped shape the profession by driving excellence in the workplace.
Through this legacy of experience comes the inherent understanding of the value of the whole practice team. This is one of the driving concepts behind the 2023 Congress, which promises to provide inspiration for all members of the practice team, as well as celebrating SPVS’ long history.
Focusing on the theme of “Thriving In Practice” the programme has been designed to help ensure practices are sustainable, profitable, happy and productive places to work, with a mixture of lectures and interactive workshops providing in-practice case-studies, high levels of audience participation and practical steps that delegates can implement on their return to practice.
Key areas include:
- Self-development – boosting your career
- Team Dynamics – growing together as a whole practice team
- Leadership – developing effective leaders
- Practice Management – running a happy, profitable practice
- Finance – overcoming challenges in today’s economic climate.
In the exhibition, delegates can look forward to opportunities to meet suppliers and learn from their lecture showcases, and to connect with the main programme speakers to continue conversations started in their sessions.
Fun is also high on the agenda, with evening entertainment including a sparkling President’s party night, and a drinks and buffet meal to meet up with colleagues and friends, old and new.
What three words
