The British Veterinary Receptionist Association (BVRA) Congress 2022 – the only congress that is specifically for the veterinary receptionist community – will take place on 30th September to 1st October 2022 and Veterinary Woman is delighted to be attending to meet delegates, seek out inspiration from the front line of client care and learn about the incredible work of vet receptionists across the country.
Kay Watson-Bray, co-founder of BVRA, is looking forward to some particular highlights. “This year we have our best ever programme of speakers who will be sharing their experiences and knowledge with you. Sessions will cover much-requested subjects such as demystifying pet insurance, telephone triage, pet poisons, nutrition and much more. We are super excited to welcome Vet Yogi and Vet Fit who will be running demonstrations on workplace fitness, and explaining why movement is so important. We are also delighted to welcome our keynote speaker this year, the amazing Jade Statt, co-founder of StreetVet. Jade will be sharing her intriguing success story about StreetVet – can’t wait!”

Kay continues, “Back by popular demand is the one and only DJ Dan O’Dwyer who will be heading up the Friday night congress party entertainment. There will be a drinks reception followed by a three-course meal. After the meal the winner of our 2022 Veterinary Receptionist of the Year award will be announced. Always an exciting moment! DJ Dan will then take over for the remainder of the evening, which will include the much-enjoyed music bingo, a great opportunity to test your music knowledge and win some fun prizes! Much dancing will be had for the remainder of the evening so put on your best party attire and come and have some fun!”
