Veterinary Women in Leadership (VWIL), a collaboration between Veterinary Woman and XLVets, will be holding a networking session at London Vet Show to allow like-minded people from different parts of the industry to meet and share ideas on veterinary leadership.
The event will take place at 11:15 – 12:15 on Friday 18th November at London Vet Show, in the Alumni and Community Zone.
Following the panel session hosted by VWIL at BVA Live on “Leadership stories: If you can see it, you can be it!”, and VWIL’s recent online discussion event on the topic of “What can the career stories of the past teach the leaders of the future?”, it is clear that people in all roles – leaders and non-leaders, male and female – welcome the opportunity to share their views, hear other perspectives and are keen to build on this with continuing dialogue and a shared purpose.
Delegates to London Vet Show have no need to book for the session. Put the date in your diary, and come along to meet others and join the conversation about how by working together, everyone can influence a future of healthy veterinary leadership that promotes equality and the positive support to help individuals learn, grow and fulfil their career aspirations.
