Veterinary professionals are being invited to take part in a new webinar series designed to help create more hormone-friendly workplaces.

The webinar series, which contains two 90-minute sessions, is run by Vet Empowered. Led by clinical psychologist Dr Helena Tucker, the sessions will explore the impact of hormonal changes across the veterinary career journey and how this can impact PMS and PMDD, perimenopause, fertility challenges, and hormonal transitions.

Both sessions are free to attend, thanks to sponsorship from Covetrus, and will be recorded for those unable to join live.

  • How to advocate for yourself and others

  • Managing your own hormonal well-being in demanding roles
  • How to begin these conversations safely and confidently

Session 2: Saturday 10th April, 10:00am BST

From Awareness to Action – Advocacy and Sustainable Support in Veterinary Teams

  • Advocacy and shared responsibility within teams
  • Engaging colleagues and leadership
  • Practical inclusion for diverse hormonal experiences
  • Supporting more complex hormonal journeys
  • Knowing when further support is needed and how to signpost
