We are excited to be presenting a panel discussion session at BVA Live this June. “Leadership Stories: If you can see it, you can be it” will be hosted by Veterinary Women in Leadership, a collaborative initiative between Veterinary Woman and XL Vets.

Come along and hear about women’s leadership journeys within the veterinary profession to support your own leadership development pathway. There is good evidence that a key enabler to development as a leader is seeing others do it and hearing their career stories – effectively having role models. This session aims to showcase three different veterinary careers with plenty of opportunity for Q&A with like-minded professionals.

The panel will be hosted by Alice Moore of XL Vets and Jenny Langridge of Veterinary Woman, and speaking will be:

  • Jo Oakden – Business Support Manager, Vet Partners
  • Eve Thomas – Director – Builth Wells Veterinary Practice
  • Liz Munro – Clinical Director – Palmerston Vet Hospital
